For those of you that aren't familiar, much of the 71-73 Mustang front subframe was sourced from and common with the 68-71 Torino.

Best advice I can give for in-car pan replacement, is to glue the new pan gasket to the block with Permatex gasket adhesive or Indian head gasket shellac. Run some bolts in to hold the gasket in place while it dries.

This advice is for in-car pan gasket replacement, so the pan doesnt have to be totally removed?

Looks like the gasket is a 4 piece. Are they all?
Can the gasket be glued to the pan and then everything reassembled? I havent had to replace gasket so just asking for my own info.

No, you can't glue the gasket to the pan, it has to be on the block.End seals must be in the channels on the rear main and timing cover.
