#1
hey guys i was wondering if anyone knew the name of the SEM interior paint that would best match the factory black of a 72, and the name of the color for the engine bay paint, also a close color to what the trunk is supposed to be(semi gloss, sating. black, grey?), im goin to rustbullet, and roll my trunk probably as im on a limited budget and understand no one will likely every look under my backseat/ trunk much, thanks in advance

If you are referring to the paint that was used on the metal dash, and it was originally black, the best match I've found is Dark Charcoal Metallic. http://npdlink.com/store/products/mustan...5-2979.htm

The closest match I've found for plastic parts is this http://npdlink.com/store/products/mustan...-2979.html

The engine bay semi-gloss black is supposed to be epoxy but getting it in a spray can could be a problem. This is a good alternative http://npdlink.com/store/products/mustan...-2977.html

The Dark Blue Gray spatter paint is correct for 72-73. It is available here http://www.tcpglobal.com/spraypaintdepot...+DX1776-QT. It requires a gun with a huge nozzle size to spray. You could try the "2 stage" spray can system from Plasti-Cote, 501 and 505 I think. It doesn't appear to be a great match but closer than the Light Grey used in 71 that is widely advertised as being correct for 72-73.
