1973 Mach I (428CJ Motor)
Purchase this vehicle while on active duty with the U.S. Air Force in the Philippines. Car was built as "Export" and shipped overseas to me. Originally equipped with a 351CJ, C6, and 3:25 (28 Spline) Traction Loc. Current motivation is a 1970 428CJ, wide ratio top loader and 4:57 gear (Nodular Center). Additional modifications include rear fender flares, Boss 429 type hood scoop, 15X10 inch wheels (rear) with Pro Trac N50-15 tires.

Major changes in the work include replacing the 428CJ with a 545 (460+.030 with 4.500" forged crank), C6, 3:73 gears, and 31 Spline axles.

How about some more photos BT? I'd love to see more details on the cars.
Jeff T.

Low buck, touring style, '73 Convertible "rolling restoration", 351c, 2v heads with a shave and a haircut, Performer intake, Holley 650(ish), roller rockers, screw in studs, guideplates, stainless valves, Duraspark / Motorsports MSD, T-5 conversion. 1-1/8" front, 3/4" rear swaybars KYB shocks and some home brewed subframe connectors. Future plans; JGC steering box, Cobra brakes and... paint, interior, etc.

When I die I want to die like grandpa, peacefully in my sleep... not screaming, like his passenger.

Yes, I have been meaning to really get my garage going. It seems as if I have been extremely busy, even though I am "retired."

I have been trying to wait until I receive the Grandé back from the Painter prior to posting. The way things are going it might still be a while before that comes to fruitionSmile.

Hope to get something up soon.

BT
Do the RIGHT thing.

Bt!!! come on!! grab a camera and take a few pics!!!

Well.. your car is amazing... it sdhould be POWER all the way, isn´t it??... Love the engine you have right now... Here in Uruguay i know a car... (more like a shell) that is for a fact a 1969 Mach 1.. You should know how rare this is in Uruguay... Is like seing a F1 car, driven by schumacher in the mall!! Tongue jeje

Well... the car is awfull and "not for sale" obviousely... Has no engine of course and the rumors are that thi car was a 428 CJ Mach 1...
Now you made me remember about this car.. is like 300 Km from where i live but i should go there and see if she´s still there... Don´t through the 428 to the garbage yet! Tongue ejej

Keep us posting man! Wink
