My motor is getting rebuilt at, Greg's Cylinder Head, motor is getting 30 over bigger cam, roller rocker with screw in studs and guide plates. Trans to get overhauled soon. Replace drivers side floor complete front to back welded all new metal in the interior where it was rusted. I also had the leak and repaired the area above the heater WOW what a PITA. Then POR-15 entire roof and interior and underneath. Steering gear was leaking and getting rebuilt now. Hope by June to have it back running Huh Well I hope so
Way it's going I will have as much invested in the motor then I did in buying the car Blush
I have a sweet garage to play in, it's 16' X 34' and I won't be happy until it's a bunch wider. I constantly heat the garage all the time when the weather gets below 50*

Hey...good luck with the motor. We are doing similar builds.

I visit my family in Eastpointe now and then. I used to have 3rd cousins in Wyandotte, but haven't seen anyone in 30 years or so.

Good luck with the motor. Are you assembling or Greg?

I am going to pay Greg to do this one, been a long time since I rebuilt my last one it was a 327 with 400hp and it ran awesome. Since I am going with roller assembly I figure let Greg do it. This will be his responsibility for leaks and what not. My brother in law, from Bill Ritchie auto electric builds a bunch of motors every year but he even said let Greg do this one. His cost is $750 completed intake and all.
Going to be around $5,000 before it's all done and will be pushing 400 HP and premium gas. Since It's driven two to three times a week just a couple miles. My buddy had it for 12 yrs and only put 3000 miles on it. He thought the motor was rebuilt, it sure looked like it from the outside lol. Greg showed me it was all original inside Brgs and rings were ford stamped.
Thanks
