1973 Convertible
1973 302 Convertible now fitted with edelbrock manifold, holley carb and headers.
I bought the car in 2006 and changed the rusty hood for a ram air one and changed the grille to a Mach 1 style one.The top was replaced in 2009 and then at the beginning of 2010 I thought I'd tidy up the car a bit and get rid of any rust bubbles.By the end of March 2010 I had cut most of the back end out of the car!!

Nice ride, let's see some more.
Jeff T.

Low buck, touring style, '73 Convertible "rolling restoration", 351c, 2v heads with a shave and a haircut, Performer intake, Holley 650(ish), roller rockers, screw in studs, guideplates, stainless valves, Duraspark / Motorsports MSD, T-5 conversion. 1-1/8" front, 3/4" rear swaybars KYB shocks and some home brewed subframe connectors. Future plans; JGC steering box, Cobra brakes and... paint, interior, etc.

When I die I want to die like grandpa, peacefully in my sleep... not screaming, like his passenger.

What kind of performance increase did you get by just adding headers, intake and Holley carb? I have a 302 and am trying to get a few extra horses.

Sorry for the late reply but adding the headers, dual exhaust, intake and Holley has improved the response and feels much quicker as before my old V6 SN95 felt quicker but now the 302 pulls quite nicely, makes a decent noise and can hold its own but after driving my ones with 351C's it definitely nowhere near as quick off the line.I will find out in July what the 1/4 times are like as I will probably take it to my yearly pilgrimage to the UK's best American car event at Santa Pod and give this one a run or two Smile
