1972 Mustang Sportsroof
Hello guys...

I´m here trying to get this garagge done Tongue at least it´s a start!!}
Well... My car is a 72 sportsroof I6, low compression engine, 3 speed manual trans.

It´s actually a 1 of 1 car and the plans are to slowly start to get all the parts i need to eventually, restore it fully, factory stock.

The car is running ok now, i'm still working on several details like brakes, carb, etc etc... but most hard work is done!!!

Hope you enjoy it and well.. i´m going to be updated this garagge as the work is being done.

Thanks guys!!

Thanks Uv! The uniqueness is really random... i found that out here in this formum a couple of month ago, trying to figure my VIN out Tongue
Besides the uniqueness in the matter of VIN, this is the only 71-73 fastback in my country so i´m very very proud to own it and take care of it too...

As i said before, for us, overseas people... have a classic american car is a real challenge. I know for me is even harder because i have no money, i´m young (not that young F**k!!) and as a muscle car fan i had to learn how to do the things i couldn´t afford to get done so, bottom line is i´m proud of my car, i fell lucky to found it and see it´s potential and now, for sure, i know A LOT more of restoration work that i found out i really love to do...

You know there´s a rumor over here that during our military government, some army guy brought a shelby GT 350 and when the democracy returned, the car was dissapiared... Well.. i´m gonna look for it in case my luck keeps comming Tongue je!

BTW... Your car looks awsome!... your colour combination is what i like the most on this type of mustangs! Wink

Thanks for your words! we keep touch!

And 2 monthes later I shall answer.... jeje...

The color is a 1969 Ivy glow code, in PPG Deltron Base... I got the code for ppg and i believe Sikkens from a Boss 429 restoration... I believe they used the original Ivy Glow for mustang 1969.
