My car was originally ordered by a Ford employee who worked at the Hapsfield Ford Assembly Plant in Georgia. It was ordered on the company lease plan. It was originally believed to be a Ford Executive (only four made in 71) but Kevin Marti confirmed that it was not one of those.

Kevin did state that it was possibly the highest optioned 71 Mach 1. It might not be but it ranks up there at the top for options. I attached my original dealer invoice (2 pages) so you can see how it was equipped.

The car was got a rotisserie restoration in 2002 or 2003. It had the tape stripes added at that time which I really like. The engine and transmission are original to the car as well. The car is lots of fun to drive and has plenty of power. As of now it has just under 800 miles since it was restored. I plan to put a few more miles on this baby in the future!
