Yellow looks good on these cars. I wish mine was yellow. Your floor pans look great.

The car was yellow originally, but was painted a different yellow at some point. A pretty crummy job. Yes, lucked out on the floorpans, trunk and rear quarters not as lucky.

Finally got to put the taillight panel on today. Big day!

A little filler, a lot of sanding, some primer. Starting to look solid again.

After all that work taking off the bad yellow paint job...I think I'm going to paint it yellow again. It just seems to fit. If I ever was going to own a yellow car, I think this would be the best one.

I think yellow is the best looking color for 71-73 Mach1s. Yellow is a good color to hide imperfection in the body work. sometimes better than white. My brother has a 71 Ranchero that I talked him into painting yellow instead of Grabber blue. He parks it under a car port and uses a California duster on it when he takes it out. He likes how easy it is to take care off. My Mach1 is red and I'm going to have a hard time not painting mine yellow when that time comes.
