1971 Mach 1
#1
I just received the January 2012 issue of "Hot Rodding Magazine" which has on the cover a very nice looking 1971 Grabber Lime Mach 1.

The Mustang is one of twenty-six "Top Reader Rods" identified in the Issue. The author noted or inferred that pro building this generation Mustangs could be the start of "something new as people continue to look for ways to be different."

I guess we better get ready for the price of OUR Mustangs to go upAngel.

Yup...The late bloomer is now being noticed...All the bad press is being forgotten...And there being noticed for there looks, power and style....Kinda like the mustang cobra ii's..So many freinds told me they was the ugliest mustang...But now there changing there mind and notice how decent they look...the 5.0 fox body's are starting to look so dated and taking place of the mustang 2's as the ugly mustang..hehehe.....But for the right price..I wouldnt turn down any year of mustang.

Funny you should mention the Mustang II, there was a nice example in the movie "Zookeeper" we rented over the weekend.

That's great Cobra! If anyone collects toys, then they'd see that even toy makers are starting to recognize our cars. Hotwheel, Jada, Johnny Lightning, Motormax, and AutoArt is just a few that has recently jumped on the 7173Mustang band wagon. Hotwheels has been around for ages and it's suprising that only recently has made our body style. Matchbox, Yatming, and Solido/Corgi, is only a few that believed in our cars from the get go. I honestly believe toys play huge part in positively promoting a car. I see it on diecast websites all the time. Comments like "I wish I could own a car like this" and its a picture of a Johnny Lightning 7173 Mustang Wink
