Original equipment was:
white paint & ginger interior with console and tach.
351C 2-V, FMX, 2.75 open rear.

Currently has:
Faded red paint, black & red interior, no console.
351C 2-V, non-working and removed FMX.

Plans:
Daily driver. Fresh red paint and all black interior.

The rearend is 8" with unknown gears.
I also found traces of Ginger in the interior. The door panels, kick panels, and back of the front seat panels are all Ginger with black paint sprayed over the Ginger.

My 71 Mach 1 was white with a red interior (as you can see from my photos) but I recently discovered that it is currently red, the same as yours. Do you think people spray them red to replicate the Diamonds are Forever car?

Steve, I bought them on Friday but only mentioned them yesterday on my New to Mach 1 intro thread. I'll set up a garage for them before too long. They will be in TN for a while at my retired parent's home before I bring them down here...need to make some room here first - but that's a good problem to have. Smile
