1971 Grandè Coupe
This is my 1971 Mustang.

As a Grandè a rare sight in germany.

Sounds nice and drives good, as long as it is not over 70 mp/h Big Grin

Will add more info later...

Ok, and here are more info later Wink

It has a Eleonore Bodykit, that is where the hoodscoop and the rear 'fin' come from.
The first picture show it in its state when I first saw it and the same day I decided I wanted to have it! That moment I didn't know the 'seller' wasn't the owner and an complete ass....!

Had a lot of work to do afterwards but with honest help from honest people it is now in a good condition. Except the parking ramblers ... *grumble*

The normal 351 W ( I think ) is gone, the former real owner blew it within 2 months... The workshop gave him a 302 C. HP with Edelbrock Carburetor should be around 240+-. I took out aircondition and everything else that didn't work.

Someday I want to repaint it in orange with white stripes in the middle.

Hey, you can't post up a couple of pics and say 'more later'! I want to know now! I love the colour and the look. That hood is custom? And I like what was done with the rear deck kind of built in spoiler thing.

Great looking car.

Good looking paint job.
Grandes are pretty uncommon around here also.

Low buck, touring style, '73 Convertible "rolling restoration", 351c, 2v heads with a shave and a haircut, Performer intake, Holley 650(ish), roller rockers, screw in studs, guideplates, stainless valves, Duraspark / Motorsports MSD, T-5 conversion. 1-1/8" front, 3/4" rear swaybars KYB shocks and some home brewed subframe connectors. Future plans; JGC steering box, Cobra brakes and... paint, interior, etc.

When I die I want to die like grandpa, peacefully in my sleep... not screaming, like his passenger.

When you have the time, please enter you car in the REGISTRY.
Top of this page on the left.
There are very few Grandes entered.

Looks good, like the wheels too. Orange will definitely make it stand out.

Added 5 photos.

The weather is fine and I had to took him out!

3 weeks ago I wanted to join the US Car Meeting in Hamburg but a torn fuelpipe stopped me...

But now everything is fine and the season can come.

Cool Coupe, do you have any info on what was used to get the rear spoiler/decklid combo? I did admire that one in the shelby europa thread too, I really like how the coupe looks with it.

Wow, the body work is great! The rear body spoiler must make everyone who sees it ask if its a Shelby!

The Body-Kit shall make it look like an Eleanore. That was not an idea of mine ^^

Back in the US the Car even had sidepipes.
