1971-73 Mach 1 Price
#1
I am looking for a 1971 M code factory 4 speed Mach 1 in driving condition ,needing work but no too rusty.or needing minor work like paint and interior...It could also be a 1972-73 Q code factory 4 speed.
What should I expect to pay?
Thanks for feedback!

According to NADA, for a 73 with a 351 and a four speed, $18-27K depending on options, condition, etc. I also looked at Hemmings and their values appear to be high. Little to no rust (good floors, frame members, doors, and quarters) and a decent driver, I'd expect to pay closer to 15-16K more or less depending on condition. But I am cheap and have a limited budget...

EDIT: Here is one from Hemmings

A 71 M code would be much more plentiful and therefore possibly more affordable for the tyoe of car you desire.
From NADA Classic car price guide:

Original MSRP / Low Retail / Average Retail / High Retail
Base Price $3,268 / $11,500 / $28,400 / $43,700
Options: (change)
351/285 HP V8 Engine 25% 25% 25%
4 Speed Transmission 10% 10% 10%

TOTAL PRICE: $3,268 / $15,525 / $38,340 / $58,995

I think these are a tad high but I'd expect you could find a decent driver quality car for about $12,000.
Be certain to expect issues on your drive as these cars are known to sit and as you expect one to operate across the highways, you are bound to experience some breakdowns. And all other drivers could care less that y they can out-brake and probably out acceperate you at will. It will be an exercise in patience for sure. Good luck!!!

Around 14 to 15k is a fair price.

Heck I dont have a 71 vert but I'd sell mine for 14, final assembly required on the interior. I've set my sites on the 351 RAM AIR~!!!
