1970 vs 1971 rear frame
#1
Does anyone know the difference between 1971 and the earlier rear frame rails/torque boxes?
It seems rails for the earlier mustangs are much cheaper and easier to find.

I would expect nothing to be the same. Longer wheel base in 71 - 73 and longer car.

When a man is in the woods and talks and no women are there is he still wrong??

The shock cross member on a '69-'70 is WAY stouter even in repop form... but the whole unit is a few inches narrower than the '71-'73 distance between frame rails.

Not sure that helps at all, but that's my experience with that end of the car (I just sectioned in the new pieces to replace the damaged pieces in the '71 and noted the differences)
