Always wanted to see one of those built (along with the supersized model). All I can find in photos are built AMT kits (on the bright side, they're not the '69 Shelby/Cuda based Lindberg disaster).

How to buy a '71-73 Mustang:
Rule #1: Assume all classic car sellers are guilty until proven innocent.
Rule #2: No classic car dealer is ever innocent; thus, they are all guilty.
Rule #3: Buy from trustworthy people: Fellow forum members. Visit 7173Mustang's For Sale forum.

Here's the 1/24 version. No engine but the dimensions are very good.

I had the 1/12 scale 71 Mustang Mach 1 kit made by Otaki years ago. It was a nice kit, but some proportions were off.
I think un unopened version of this kit is going for $100 or so nowadays.

I got one of the 2-n-1 kits about a month ago with both 1/12 & 1/24. It's waiting patiently for me to finish up the Full Scale model. Wink The 1/12 kit will be a "finished product' build... I've already scored the 1/12 Cragar S/S rims as well (just gotta figure out how to chrome 'em, since they're resin pieces).

Also got an AMT 1/24 kit as well. I'm planning on 3 versions of my car:
  • Factory correct
  • As I bought it (complete with rust, Redneck Mods, and everything)
  • Finished Product

I'm sure building those kits will take a lot less time and might even be as much fun as the real thing. Big Grin
