Engine Wiring harness
#1
Hi there, another issue I would like help with. I am wiring my engine (1973 351 C 2V) I am wondering if anybody could help where the plugs go on the pigtail harness, I think it is called, I tried using the diagram in the data section but I truly find that too complicated! I know three round ends are for the idiot light sensors, but I am not sure which is which. Thank you again

Post a pic if you can. I just put part of my harness back in after rebuilding the engine.

Without a picture, it is a little tough. But generally the plugs are not interchangeable physically. Maybe just take a closer look at the plugs.

OK...white/red is oil pressure
red/white is water temperature
red/green is coil
The other wires are for your carb solenoid (large female plug) and the spade lead is to something related to emissions.

Let me check your shorts!
