What rims would you put on
#1
Okay I am looking to put on a set of mag 500 with 7s upfront and 8in the rear, but I want to see what rims you would like to put on yours. I will show a pic of what I am rocking now.

I like the dog dish with raised white letter tires. Mag 500s is my choice for 71-72s. The 73s get the factory aluminum slotted wheels. Then aftermarket.

My 73 came factory with the 14" Mag 500......I was thinking for my car 17" or 18" bullitt type rims

{thumbs up} I agree fully...Even the dog dishes can look cool with white letters and no white wall....The white wall realy makes them look bad..lol

Btw,,,I got the factory slotted mags on mine.

Ken, the 73's supposedly did not come from the factory with Magnum 500's, they came with the Forged Aluminum wheels that were unique to the 73's. Is yours an early production 73?

The dog dish and trim rings look good, but the 73 Forged Aluminum wheels are sharp and unique. For aftermarket I like the Keystone Klassics!

I'd save the money and go with the dog dishes you have on, polish those puppies up and put some raised white lettered BF Goodrich Radial T/A's on. If you go with other wheels hold onto your dog dishes or you regret getting rid of them later in life.

I'd have to check I've forgotten the build date when I ran the vin. But according to the details you I got the magnums were stock.
