Exhaust Systems
#1
I've heard people say that Magnaflow systems out-perform Flowmaster, I've heard that Flowmaster out-performs Magnaflow and I've heard the only difference is preference in sound. Based on my experience with these sort of things, I'm going to guess that the most accurate statement is the last - just personal taste. I don't have enough experience with either to state a well-founded opinion, which is sort of why I'm here.

What does everyone like? It doesn't have to be Flowmaster or Magnaflow. I was hoping maybe someone had some audio of their system too. I would love to get an idea of what my exhaust might sound like before i'm $400 into it. Big Grin

I have 2.5 flowmaster cat system on my 5.0 for 15+ years, its to loud now that I have gray hair. On my 07 F350 powerstroke I have 4" Magnaflow turbo back system. My truck sounds perfect. The Magnaflow system is stainless and is a very clean install. But the Magnaflow is not cheap.

In no particular order, Hooker Aerochamber, Magnaflow, Dynomax, and Summit Racing. All different one from another but, I like them all. Chuck

Sounds great! But did you know there was a shadow shaped like a llamas head watching you?
