Hi and thanks for viewing My Garage.
I purchased this car in September 2009 from here in Oz and had it transported
from South Australia to Sydney- pic #1 is the day it came off the transporter
and the following pic's are from prepping for paint through to the final product.
The car is a matching numbers all original except for the Edelbrock Performer
manifold and Edelbrock 1406 carby and of course the now new Bright Red paint.
Since getting it road worthy I have replaced the water pump, ps hose and brake
master cylinder, while getting it inspected for road worthy we discovered rust in
the lower shock towers and due to the near impossible chance of me getting a
donor car to get good towers from I had to patch it, luckily it wasn't bad and the
end result was excellent and is now my daily driver since last December, I am
now going to start on the interior just replacing bits and pieces as the $$$
become available, they may call Australia the lucky country and this is mostly
true except for when you want to pay for shipping for Mustang parts and the
shipping costs are often higher than the parts your bringing in, I have the last
registration papers from the previous owner in California and often think I
would like to make contact with him one day, and by pure chance both my
cars ( Mustang & F250) and the wife’s 2000 Mercury Cougar are all American cars,
anyway thanks for taking the time to read my garage, I will endeavour to
update it as things come to mind or change
Cheers Mark (72mac1)

Never realized just how well the front end looks with the Barris-style rectangular headlight look.

Love the red/black Diamonds Are Forever look. Obsessed with it.

Nice photography on the main pic too!
