Looks like a good build car. Are you going original or modified? When you get a chance post an introduction so all members can welcome you to the forum

The engine and trans are out of a different car and I have always liked small custom touches, for the most part except for a intake and carb the engine and 4 speed trans will be how you could order it out of the factory. I will probably lower the car just a little maybe do some small custom work with some metal around the body, take it one step at a time as i go along as everytime i plan something it always seems to change.

Sounds like a great car to start with. Kinda rare with Q code for 72.
Is your car a 02 Sportsroof (non-Mach 1 fastback) or a 05 Mach 1?
Check the first 5 digits of your VIN. It would be 2F02Q or 2F05Q.

Be sure and post your intro as suggested above.

Thanks for posting the pics. I'm partial to the white/black color combo. Are you going to keep those colors?

The Body tag for the 1972 Q code Here is the body tag that matches the VIN # on the 72 Mach 1 Q code, believe the car to be a unrestored factory colors, minus the rear quarter panels being primed, and a different hood/trunk. I am also a big fan of the white on black paint, so hopefully keep these stock colors.
