I like the way you "made it yours". This site is all about supporting owners of 71 - 73 mustangs, in whatever iteration the owner wants to make it. My hat is off to you in creating a rather unique 73 convertible! I may 'borrow' a couple of mods you have made. Smile

i made it look good the best way i knew, i shaved the door handles, painted with a newer color, it was headed for the shredder so i saved it and modified it from the bland red convert it was..

I like it... very nice car.

Jeff T.

Low buck, touring style, '73 Convertible "rolling restoration", 351c, 2v heads with a shave and a haircut, Performer intake, Holley 650(ish), roller rockers, screw in studs, guideplates, stainless valves, Duraspark / Motorsports MSD, T-5 conversion. 1-1/8" front, 3/4" rear swaybars KYB shocks and some home brewed subframe connectors. Future plans; JGC steering box, Cobra brakes and... paint, interior, etc.

When I die I want to die like grandpa, peacefully in my sleep... not screaming, like his passenger.

you could out of the factory get every option the mach 1 had, in a convert, it just would not say mach 1, motor, graphics "sans mach 1" and hood. they all came as separate options.. I dont know if the rear spoiler was a separate option?

Very Nice ride!!
I always like it when any red Mustang, becomes a blue one. I'm not a hater, just like blues much more.
Very tasteful bodywork, others (me) can learn a lot.
Now Have Ya done an Overdrive tranny?? Get lower gears, and still Interstate cruise.
Humph I wuz thinkin of painting our Vert black, however that Knoa blue of yours looks mighty fine.
