Redoing Fuel System
#1
i am concerned about on lowered cars when you turn hard left the tire rubs against the fender a bit on the driver side. don't know if it comes close on the passenger side though.

i'd like some advice on how to route the lines in the fender well. i want to run the lines all the way to the front so keep more straight fittings instead of a bunch of 90 and have it near the headers.

below is a little more detailed explaination.

ok i finished up all the lines tonight! however i can't a place to put the large 6.5 10 mesh filter. i might have to look into carb inlet filters before the bowls and use double couplers.

i do have a pic on how the tire to fenderwell is and on the passenger side its like 2 inches or more so the tire coming close to the lines isn't an issues. just weird how it comes alot closer to the driver side though.

the only thing i could find right now for filtering before carb is this:

my current ones like this have the female swivel end and these have the male threads only. this will require me to use double couplers and it'll bring my return fitting pretty close to intake heat.

anybody else got ideas?

i'm going to extend the power wire to the pump and do a leak check on the entire system.

i'm also going to see how fast i can fill up a two gallon jug (need gas for lawn mower and it looks like the lawn mower is getting 91 Big Grin)

just wanted to report that this fuel system is happily feeding my 626hp 521 motor just fine and maintains pressures regardless of the conditions.

i'm pretty sure the 5/8's lines has a role in the situation as well.
