I always go to the car shows and see all kinds of cars in different condition and stages of restoration also customized and I always say I like all cars no matter how they look but with this there is an exception! I could not imagine doing this to my Camaro.

My guess are the heads 624 heads have weak castings and are prone to cracks. Just a guess.

I've found out the hard way so every time I take it to a shop for tires or alignment I remove the wheel covers. Years ago I had one shop put my spoke wire wheel discs on my Oldsmobile with a regular hammer and dented the edge of all the disc. That's a shame what they did to those rare wheel disc...

A friend of mine was having the same problem so I wrapped the starter with a insulation kit I purchased at Car Quest and the problem was gone.

Welcome from southern Ontario. Love your Mustang, nothing like cruising in a convertible. A blast from the past Tornado tires from Canadian Tire on the brown Mustang. I use to have them on my car in the 70s.
