Many in the group (including myself) have used SMS. They did have bolts of true Comfortweave material if that is what you are trying to get. If you search comfortweave in the forum you should get many hits. One of them is a well written exchange on the loss of the manufacturer of comfortweave...
Welcome from a former cheese head who grew up in Kenosha and acquired my 72 there back in the early 80's. Now transplanted down south. This is a great group to help out as you work through your projects.
While at the 60th in Birmingham and awaiting the receipt of my Concourse Grill Medallion I was approached by a gentlemen indicating he would like to photograph my car for an MCA Mustang Times story. He stated he had been at the MCA in Melbourne, FL last year and wanted to get a photoshoot but...
The 60th was a great experience not only for the show but for reaching a goal of my grill medallion for the 72. I am so so happy to have had all of these years and experiences with my father and feel so blessed that we will both share in these memories forever. Just to add more significance my...
Kevken It was great to see you at the pumps headed out. Sorry for taking up the whole fuel lane with truck and trailer. We will need to meet up again and talk 71-73's some more. Wished we would have made the forum connection while we were together talking at the car. You really do have a...
Best wishes on the build. Understand that there will be periodic frustrations, but it is all worth it in the end. Take your time and celebrate the victories.
Congrats on the win Ron. Well deserved for sure. Their trophies are really cool. Definitely a great conversation piece with folks. Hope you had a great time. I do agree though that the majority of the show is newer models. While I respect other years and I am thankful people are keeping...
The 60th will be a big one for me. Finally will be awarded my grill medallion on Saturday 4/6/24. It has been a long period of showing and judging in Concourse to get here. Don't get me wrong, it has been a great experience and my father and I have had the opportunity to spend time together...
I will be there with the 72 and in the Conservator class for the first time. Looking forward to not being judged anymore for 3-4 hours in Concourse class. I am really looking forward to getting my Blue MCA medallion on Saturday afternoon. It has been a long 10 yrs. working towards that goal...
It is a good show. I attended in 2021 and did well. There are alot of driving activities in concert with the show that is a good mix for all to consider what there interests are. I would recommend it to anyone interested.
Needed to find some pictures of the 67. These were in the late 90's and 2014 at the 50th in Charlotte. Drove it Memphis to Charlotte and back in the snow, sleet and rain. Still priceless to have done it with my father. Last two is on Beale St. in Memphis with the monthly Hot Rods on Beale...
