    Bio: I am in the process of restoring a 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 fastback. I had a red mach 1 in high school which I wrecked. My daughter gave me this car about 4 years ago. It has been stripped, primed, in the paint booth. I have the rear end rebuilt with all new suspension components. It is a numbers matching mach 1 fastback w/a 351cj 4-barrel.

    Rim Advice?
    I have a 72 mach 1. I purchased some "Bullett Rims" 17X8 with a 45mm offset. The original rims were Magnum 500's with 0 offset. I have seen spacers 1 1/2". Can these rims be mounted and used without problems such as steering, handling, etc. ? I am rebuilding front end and don't want to do something to make the the car dangerous to drive. Any technical advice would be greatly appreciated.
