I grew up working in my brothers body shop. He is 16 years older than me and would take me to his shop when I was a little boy. He purchased a 1972 Mach 1 brand new. I always loved that car so when it came time for me to buy my first car it was a 1972 Mach 1. I was sent to Chief EZ Liner frame school at age 16 and worked for him on and off for a total of around 7 years, some in high school and at other times. I received a technical certificate in Auto Body repair in 1985. I purchased the 1972 Mach 1 I own in 1982 as a sophomore in high school, It was my 1st car. I worked 2 years working as a detailer/supervisor in a customization shop where new trucks were repainted and customized. Currently I repair appliances for a national repair company. I am married since 1987 to my lovely bride and I have 4 children.I am rebuilding the 72 Mach 1 with my 3 sons, mostly the 3rd son who is now 15, the same age as I was when I purchased it. |
