First, go to: http://www.7173mustangs.com/forum-member-map and click the ADD PIN button. You will see a screen that looks like this:



1) Enter your city or town's name and the state or country in this field.

2) Your screen will have a browse button that you can click to upload an image. It can be a photo of your car, your avatar image or what ever you like.

3) Enter a brief description of your town if you like...this is optional.

4) Enter your zip code in this field and then click the GET MY GEO LOCATION button. It will automatically fill in your longitude and latitude in the Geo Location field to the right. I suggest using just your Zip Code or city and state (country) for security reasons. The locator will allow exact street address if you like but it's better to keep it vague. The map is hidden from guests, only registered members can view it.

The text field below can be used for anything you would like to say about your location. It will only show in the discussion thread the the Map creates in the forums.

That's pretty much it! If you ever need to adjust your settings, just find your pin on the main map and click on it. That will take you to your discussion thread where you can click the EDIT button (FULL EDIT ONLY) and edit your settings.
