    Floor dilema

Well still working at it on my 1973 Mach 1 restomod, got to take apart the passenger floor board that was installed previously and to my surprise they sure did a lousy job at it. Here are some pics:

As you can see the new pan was installed over a lousy cutout floor and with still rusty parts still attached to the car.Angry
Well continued to remove all rusty pieces and cleaned the frame rail and rear seat floor area and found some rust holes.

I am waiting for my new set of full floor inserts before cutting the rough ends of the floor pan and the firewall. I think I might need to do a small patch job on the front torq box but dont know how to handle the rear seat floor pan area and rear torq box area. Any hints or advise would be greatly appreciated.Smile

Doesn't look too bad overall...I will be tackling the same thing on the drivers side of the 72 Coupe. I found a few soft spots around the box frame.
