"extra cooling option" from my Marti Report

    Hi guys...
Well... i´m in the process of understanding what my Marti Report results really means, part by part...
I concentrated my initial search in the "extra cooling option" feature and if my search was correct...

Could it means that i have a big radiator (AC Radiator althoug the car doesn´t have factoy AC) and its fan shroud? Actually, i dont have the fan shroud so if this is what extra cooling option means, could somebody help me with some clues to buy the correct fan shroud?

    Thanks!

all cars came with a fan shroud.

extra cooling option was standard with A/C cars, i believe the the option was the larger 3 row radiator and a 5 blade fan and a power steering cooler. this is off the top of my head i would have to look in the books again. i believe there was a few different fan shrouds as well, not sure what a I6 came with.

I'm not sure if you would of gotten the larger 55Amp alternator and the heavy duty voltage regulator as well.

Ok, i see... i actually dont have the fan shrounds at all... but i believe the radiator, as well as the 5 blade fan are factory original...
Power Steering cooler may add an extra radiator, isn´t it? that i dont have either...
I suppose if I bring my radiator part number we can see which fan shround fits it...
The original voltage regulator is there but i broke it... something burn when i conect it back to the car Tongue
I suppose is fixable so it won't be a big deal to put it back to original..

        Thanks!

You would be "on track" to obtain the radiator and shroud from a 351C 2v (with AC) or a 351 4V engine from 1971 - 1973. Actually, there are other engines that used the same radiator and shroud (Boss 302, 429CJ, etc.) but I think you get the idea.

As to the fan, it would be the one mentioned on the applications above although you may have a 4-blade fan which was also offered in the 351c 2V heavy duty cooling option. A better bet would be to go with the 5-blade fan found on the 351C 4V.

The aforementioned parts are all available from the Mustang parts houses such as CJ Pony Parts and OMS (and others).

          Hope this helps.

Great BT as always!... I´ll go and check what exactely do i have, i believe radiator and fan blade are the original ones but the sround is missing and if it came with one, i´ll have to get it...

As i said too, i´ll bring the radiator part number and if I can i´ll take some pics of the engine bay, maybe someone remembers something else. You´ll have to correct me in some engine parts colour paint cause as i said before, i had never seen another 71-73 mustang in person and some things i painted the way y felt that day, je!!
            Not i´m more serious! je!
