    I know some of yall have painted chrome bumper, what is the process or prep for painting chrome bumpers?

            The actual chrome plating is only a few microns thick. Sand or media blast would be my suggestion although I've never done either to chrome before...

                i looked into swapping out my front 73 plastic bumper for a 71-72 chrome........i like the look better

                but, it was gonna be too much of a hastle........

                i could have gotten good $$$ for the 73 front bumper with all the brackets.........
