runninpony 1973 Mach 1 Q code
Just bought this 73 Mach 1 in Pennsylvania. According to the report it looks like it didn't come with the NASA hood, but it has one now. Not sure if the NASA hood came standard on the Q code. As you can see in the pic the previous owner had mounted the rear wing on backwards, I fixed that already.

According to the 73 Mustang sales brochure (link below) for the standard features you have a choice on the Mach 1 to come with or without the NASA style hood scopes. Not sure if the Marti would specify. Probably need to look at some of the other Mach 1 Marti reports.

The Q codes could come with the nasa hood but not functional. Only the 2V could get the functional hood due to EPA.

Thanks, the 500's are pretty new as well as the tires. I won't have to replace them for quite a while. I eventually want to take it back to the original dog dish and trim rings.
