I finally got this park light after searching the US for it.
This is what it looked like when i got it:

The "PARK" letters were faded off and after i cleaned it i took it off the rest of the way. The chrome was flaking as well

So first order of biz was to recreate the PARK text with this super secret expensive paint that i found

Here is the result of the paint:

Getting Masked up to respray the chrome hoping it turns out ok:

Final Product: (and im happy with it!)

Not bad for a first attempt at painting with a tiny needle huh?

I was wondering if anyone has used any of Summits own brand of paint for their car? My nephew is on a tight budget and I am painting his 74 mustang II for him and was thinking about using Summits 2 stage paint. Its no show car but something decent for a 16 year old kid to drive. I was also wondering if they offer any kind of high build sandable primer? Or can i use some from the local autobody store? I read in a few magazine articles that used it and like it alot for the money. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks Kevin

After watching this video its just heart breaking to see such nice collector cars that would be of great value and adoration in USA to see rot away in Japan. Most likely cars that were left behind by US servicemen after having to return home and couldn't afford to ship the cars back, to see the mustangs stacked two high really killed me, and a Z28 Camaro!, I think I made out at least three 71-73 mustangs in the video, the guy who made the video looks like he's from Australia where they love American muscle a lot more than any Japanese. I found this post and article on Car Domain if you want to get more details.

I've decided on putting a TKO-600 into my 73 Mach I. There are several different companies that sell the TKO-600 with various mods.

Modern Driveline can provide a complete kit.

Keisler Engineering can provide a semi-complete kit (need to get the clutch cable kit from Modern Driveline) along with a a transmission who's case has been milled to make it physically smaller.

Liberty Gears can provide a TKO-600 where the internals have been modified to provide smoother shifting.

I'm looking for advice from people who have done this mod before. Has anyone ordered from Keisler ? Is the milling of the transmission required to get it to fit easily into the car? How much trimming did you need to do on the shifter hole? Which bellhousing did you use?

Thanks in advance.

Here are photos of the transmissions both stock and as modified by Keisler:
The end for Shelby International S.A. came in 1974. In between came a few miniscule efforts like the 1972 Shelby de Mexico "GT-351;" which actually had very little to do with anything Shelby at all. The company kept selling the once extensive inventory of Shelby and Cobra high performance parts until the inventory was depleted. They also briefly specialized in converting 1971-73 Mustang coupes into fastbacks as well.

Today at age 50, Eduardo Velazquez operates the largest drywall building material company in Mexico called Grabber Mexicana. His success in business has also allowed him to pursue not only politics but his love of cars. Velazquez is currently restoring his infamous 1969 "Libre" road racer, complete with 450 horsepower Gurney-Westlake engine, and plans on campaigning it in vintage competition next year.

Eduardo has also become a sought after guest speaker on the Shelby club circuit, and has been extremely active in locating Shelby de Mexico's for interested American buyers. So in a sense, he is helping to perpetuate the legend he started. That in itself gives Eduardo Velazquez a tremendous amount of satisfaction! As they say, "There is nothing that runs faster than a scared Mexican Bandito" even if he is now twenty-one years older! MI

With a new set of drilled and slotted rotors from top brakes 130$ installed all new bearings, dust sheilds, springs, reconditioned calipers-everything, everything.

I go to install my new pads ( brakelabs, full ceramic 32$)and theres no holes thru the 'outer pad' for the retaining pins.

I'm trying to understand 1. if factory does not drill these- drill my own holes, problem is only the ceramic, not steel, would be under the retaining pin head.

C6 Transmission Issue

Sometimes after sitting for a few day/weeks the transmission doesn't want to shift until it's warmed up so I have to shift to 2nd manually which works fine. After driving it a few miles all is well, in fact as long as it doesn't sit for more than few days the issue doesn't come back again and the transmission shifts great, firm shifts right on time with no slip at all. There are no leaks and it doesn't use any fluid. The fluid in it was changed a little over a year ago.

I'm thinking something is drying up when it sits for several days/weeks allowing pressure to escape????... any recommendations on additives, solutions?
