    72 steering column to firewall seal

    need help with finding to correct seal. The one I have in the car is clearly a molded piece but all the ones I find online are either flat or for a standard transmission (mine is a floor shift FMX). Maybe the one I have is not for a Mustang? Here’s a pic of what’s in the car. Thanks.

    steering wheel question

    I know it’s an old thread but is there a trick to the reassembly? I can’t get the gear timing right and trying to get the actuator rod to stay on the actuator assembly is near impossible. It just can’t be this difficult. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
