Hello Members, like to ask if anyone knows where I would have the greatest success in selling my 1972 Mustang Hardtop.-I had the vehicle listed here with no replies/interest craigslist,Facebook and Ebay which most buyers are scammers like most online folks these days.-Thanks for the help.-

What do you mean by "greatest success in selling"? Do you want it sold fast or sold for the most money?

You can put it up for a no-reserve penny auction. Guarantee it'll be sold by a certain date, but probably won't get as much as you were hoping for. Or you can list it online for how much you want to get, and sit around for as long as it takes waiting for a buyer.

Facebook Marketplace and the dedicated facebook 71-73 and/or mustang groups is the best option for where to sell a car that reaches the most potential buyers, while paying zero fees. Its up to you to take good pictures and make sure the car is listed correctly with a good description.

Then there's places like ebay and bringatrailer. They get more traffic which could mean a higher sale price, but will expect a cut of the profit. BAT will help you with the listing.

Thanks for the quick reply, and just want actual serious buyers Not Scammers to come out and view the vehicle in person and submit Real cash offers.-Probably try listing the car locally with a for sale sign where allot of traffic can see the car daily.-

I've sold a bunch of cars like that. For sale sign in the window and listed it on the FB marketplace. Don't respond to the obvious scammers and bots when they message you. And I write in the ad no lowballers and no test drives without cash in hand. It helps cut down on people wasting your time.

Then its up to you to gauge if your price is too high or why the car is not selling.

Ebay and FB have allot of scammers and BAT just denied my listing but I can try again in a week or two as I would imagine they receive many requests to review vehicles for sale and they start the listing fees @ $99.00.-Thanks and good luck with everyone's projects.-
