I had my actuators stripped & re-plated by my local plater with no problem. However, there is something I would recommend you do. That is, find a way to block the actuator rod & diaphragm part way open so any trapped fluids that seep into the canister can drain/escape.
My diaphragms leached...
Gents,
I have two 1973 Mustang front bumpers listed on the Detroit area Craigsllst site. No impact mounting arms. Both will need a bit of work.
Thanks, JPWally
Looking for a decent, clean pair of white(or off-white) 71-73 Mustang sun Visors. With or without the mounting rods. Mounting rods/brackets would need to have nice chrome.
Looking for good, old OEM brake hardware that can be cleaned-up and reused. Need a pair of parking brake cable levers(R &L) and a pair of parking brake link bars as shown below. Must fit the 10 inch brake drum from a 351C Mustang or similar Ford car.
Thank you !

I have observed these two different inner tie-rods beings used on our cars. Can anyone tell me which may be the Ford OEM tie-rod and which may be a replacement item? Or perhaps Ford used both these styles over the years? Thanks in advance!

Q1SVT ------ Got it. I see how a bit of shimming is required. But now why would someone separate a perfectly good 1973 Mustang engine mount apart to combine it with a Torino Mount? Thanks.
Thanks all for your comments / advice on the 73 Mounts. I guess I'll keep searching for some OEM units. After reading Q1SVT's interesting use of the Torino/Ranchero mounts, I understand that using two of the RH Torino/ Ranchero mounts work but I am unclear on what shimming is still necessary...
