I have a "H" code 351C in my 71 Mach1. There is a lifter tick with the cylinder #1 valves. I replaced the 2 lifters but the tick is still there. My thinking is to remove the 2 lifters one at a time and then prime the engine with a drill and distributor drive to flush out the oil passages. My cold oil pressure is usually 60 psi. I will then replace the 2 lifters with new ones again. Any thoughts or recommendations from the forum?
